Vamos Polonia Car Rental Terms and Conditions
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE AGREEMENT: hereinafter referred to as the Agreement, concluded between Vamos Polonia Car Rental (also referred to as the Lessor) and the Lessee, whose identification details appear on the first page of the Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Lessee).
Trading name: Vamos Polonia Car Rental.
1. PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT, DOCUMENTATION, OBLIGATIONS AND PROHIBITIONS
This agreement covers the use of a vehicle as part of an expressly specified service. The services are subject exclusively to these specific and general terms and conditions set forth below, signed by both parties.
Vamos Polonia Car Rental or other cooperating entities (car rental companies) provide the Lessee with a driverless vehicle, as described in the relevant agreement signed by the Lessee, in perfect technical condition, complete with all documentation, tires, tools, and accessories, as well as in good external condition and cleanliness. The Client declares that they have received the described vehicle after inspecting its operation and general condition, and that they accept and are bound by the detailed terms and conditions, agreeing to its return in working order or towed to the company's headquarters after the expiration of this agreement.
The Renter is obligated to:

Return the vehicle within the time specified in the agreement. Otherwise, after 24 hours of return, the vehicle will be reported to the appropriate authorities for misappropriation, in order to initiate criminal and civil proceedings.

Return the rented vehicle in the condition in which it was delivered, along with all its parts, tools, documentation, keys, etc., and under no circumstances will they intentionally tamper with any interior or exterior components.

Accept full liability for the value of the rented vehicle and any material damage, as well as for theft or loss of the vehicle in the event of inadequate security during parking, such as parking in prohibited areas or leaving the vehicle unlocked and unattended.

Not driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances, or while fatigued or suffering from a debilitating illness and/or medication that impairs concentration.

Civil, criminal, or other liability arising from:

Abandonment or improper use of the vehicle.

Carrying in the rented vehicle more than the permitted number of people, animals, construction materials, goods, documents, utensils, materials, objects, or anything else whose transportation, use, etc., is prohibited by law, and regulations regarding weight, height, quantity, volume, and type of cargo must be strictly observed. Any liability arising from a violation of this section, whether civil, criminal, governmental, or otherwise, is borne by the Renter at their own risk.

Applicable Highway Code regulations, as well as all regulations regarding road traffic, transportation, and road safety, must be complied with at all times and in all circumstances. The Renter is obligated to pay in full any fines and penalties imposed on the Renter for acts committed during the rental period. In the event of towing and/or immobilization of the vehicle, whether due to towing, a court order, or police action, the renter must cover all costs associated with towing the vehicle.
It is prohibited to:

Use the rented vehicle as a means or instrument for committing criminal offenses, to assist criminals, or to transport or store the proceeds of crime.

Transfer, rent, or sublet the rented vehicle to third parties, i.e., those not listed on the rental agreement.

Use the rented vehicle for driving lessons.

Use any type of fuel other than the permitted fuel in the rented vehicle.

Driving the vehicle outside of Spain, unless the renter has expressly consented to this in writing and has given the renter prior notice.

Load and/or drive the vehicle in any maritime and/or rail transport.

Use the vehicle to push or tow other vehicles or participate in races, competitions, or contests/challenges of any kind.

Driving on unpaved roads or roads unsuitable for passenger vehicles.

Using the vehicle for commercial/work purposes and/or transporting goods/providing courier services, etc.

Smoking in our vehicles is prohibited and may result in a fine.

The customer must have held a valid, original driving license for at least one year. The renter or any driver expressly authorized to drive the vehicle in the rental agreement must be at least 21 years of age. The lessor reserves the right to refuse rental.
The following documents are required for vehicle pickup:

Reservation number.

Identification card/passport.

A valid driving license for all drivers listed in the agreement.

The customer must present an international driving licence if his/her driving licence is not from the EU or the UK and is not included in the DGT convention list, if his/her driving licence is written in an alphabet other than Roman numerals.
All documents must be in their original format or submitted directly from the relevant agency's digital application. Photos, photocopies, and similar documents will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2. TARIFF
At Vamos Polonia Car Rental, we offer only one tariff, with full vehicle insurance:
The tariff includes:

Full coverage with no excess or deposit:

Body damage.

Window breakage.

Wheel and rim damage.

Rearview mirror damage.

24-hour roadside assistance.

Comparable fuel policy.
-
Unlimited mileage (except for PREMIUM groups).

Free cancellation.
Under no circumstances does the tariff cover:

Damage to the vehicle's interior.
-
Theft, loss, or damage to the key.
-
Damage caused by the driver's negligence (or any circumstances violating the rental agreement).

Damage caused by violations of road traffic regulations and road safety.
3. VEHICLE RETURN AND PENALTIES
Contractual penalties:

Loss of key 300 euro
-
Smoking in the vehicle 100 euro
-
Returning a dirty vehicle that requires specialized cleaning products 50 euro
-
Returning a vehicle without accessories as per the authorized service center's price list
The vehicle will be returned at the location, date, and time specified in the agreement, in the same condition as it was delivered by the lessor, along with all documentation, keys, tools, and accessories. Any changes to the agreed return terms may result in additional fees for the lessee.
In the event of early termination of the agreement due to the lessee's fault, they are not entitled to a refund for unused rental days.
If the lessee wishes to extend the vehicle rental period, they must notify the lessor. Vamos Polonia Car Rental reserves the right to refuse a rental if any of the requirements regarding the use of the vehicle are not met. The Renter does not guarantee the possibility of extending the rental period.
4. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
The customer authorizes Vamos Polonia Car Rental to track the rented vehicle using a GPS geolocation system, if necessary.
The Renter is required to carefully read the contract and terms and conditions; any questions or concerns must be raised before accepting and/or signing the contract.
This contract is governed by Spanish law. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent court of the place of performance, with the competent court being the place where the rental commences, in accordance with the express provisions of applicable consumer and user regulations.
